Weyerhaeuser collects old corrugated containers, office wastepaper and old newspapers for use in the manufacture of new paper products.

The company's 24 recycling facilities collect over 4 million tons (U.S.) of paper each year. Sixty percent of the recycled paper is used in Weyerhaeuser mills (including Weyerhaeuser subsidiaries and joint ventures) with the balance sold domestically and worldwide.
